Chico Studio is a full-service production company founded by Cristin Lim and Richard Tamayo. We create commercial campaigns, music videos, documentaries, and films. We make our work with a consistent roster of collaborators and friends. We believe that filmmaking is a vessel for inquiry, memory, and delight.

Cristin is a Producer and Director from Honolulu, Hawaii with a background in advertising, graphic design, and community organizing. Richard is a Mexican-American Director and Cinematographer with a Masters of Journalism and photography. Cristin and Richard work as a co-directing team.

We’re based in Los Angeles and can work as locals in Honolulu.
